Hot topics - No safe way to smoke in the car
We often hear that second-hand smoke is harmful – especially to children. But did you know that second-hand smoke is even more dangerous in a car than it is at home?

In fact, the concentration of cigarette smoke in the car is 27 times higher than the concentration of cigarette smoke in the home, explains Dr. Sharon Dell, a paediatric respirologist at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and associate scientist at the SickKids Research Institute.
